Pros & Cons
What to like and what to consider before buying.
Pros
- Excellent battery life: The 7,000 mAh battery is ideal for long workdays, travel and heavy daily use.
- Fast charging: 80 W SUPERVOOC charging reduces charging time.
- Durable construction: IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings provide substantial water and dust protection under specified conditions.
- Smooth AMOLED display: The 120 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and animations feel fluid.
- Efficient processor: Dimensity 7300-Energy handles everyday apps, multitasking and casual-to-moderate gaming well.
- Optical image stabilisation: OIS on the 50 MP main camera helps reduce blur.
- Good selfie camera: The 32 MP front camera is suitable for video calls, selfies and social media.
- Premium appearance: The slim body and refined Desert Gold and Space Grey finishes look stylish.
Cons
- No wireless charging: Charging requires a cable.
- No ultra-wide camera: The rear camera setup is less versatile for landscapes and large group photos.
- Basic secondary camera: The 2 MP portrait camera adds limited flexibility compared with a dedicated telephoto camera.
- Mid-range gaming performance: It is not as powerful as flagship processors for demanding games at high graphics settings.
- No expandable storage: There is no microSD card slot.
- Large battery means a sizeable phone: The 6.57-inch display may not suit users who prefer compact phones.
- No 3.5 mm headphone jack: Wired headphones require USB-C or an adapter.
- FHD+ rather than QHD+: The display is sharp, but some competing phones offer higher resolutions.
